There has been a lot of talk about Dwyane Wade and the Jordan Brand lately due to Wade's contract status and upcoming releases set with the Jordan Brand. Several rumors came up last month about D-Wade possibly leaving Jordan Brand when label mates Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul had upcoming sneaker deals when Dwyane Wade didn't have not one signature release in sight. So just like everyone had assumed once Wade's contract was up on Oct 1 he went on to say, "I did mutually part ways with the Jordan and Converse umbrella. We had a great nine years, but we did mutually part ways. I still feel honored to have represented my favorite player of all-time and his brand, and the opportunity I was given. But I'm not disappointed at all."
After Wade left Jordan the question came up of where will Dwyane Wade land next? Well that question was answered on the day his contract ended when Evan Turner tweeted "I'd like to welcome the homie D Wade to the Li-Ning family!!!". The same Li-Ning that worked with Jose Calderon, Damon Jones, Hasheem Thabeet, Shaquille O'Neal and Baron Davis? the same Li-Ning who is currently ranked second behind Nike in China and has been struggling to make a name for themselves in the states? Well I guess you can't even say something like that now because with somebody like Dwyane Wade on your team your bound to get attention and break necks everywhere y'all go.
