Is Meek Mills Trying To Be Like Wale?

At first it was just a thought but after taking a closer look maybe Meek Mills is trying to be like his Maybach Music Group brother. What first led me to this thought is when Meek Mills recently, like Wale, signed with RocNation management.

Wale has been signed to RocNation management even before Rick Ross found out about him. Even though if it wasn't for Rick Ross Wale wouldn't be where he is now, because his first album, Attention Deficit, [before Wale was signed under Maybach Music Group] only sold 38k copies the first week. Although a lot of that is rumored to be from  being under shipped.

While under MMG Wale pulled off 160k for his second album, which I believe deals mostly with the mixtape Eleven One Eleven Wale released right before his second album Ambition. A few seconds after dropping the Eleven One Eleven Wale made history by being the first artist ever to crash Hulkshare.com, and just from the crash alone Wale's popularity grew tremendously. From that I think its safe to say if you ever crash Hulkshare your next album will go platinum for sure.

So just like Wale dropping his pre-album mixtape Meek Mills recently released 'Dreamchasers 2' via DatPiff. Now Dreamchasers 2 didn't really crash DatPiff but, just like his name, Mills did happen to pull off two million downloads in the first day. Not to mention Dreamchasers 2 was released in the afternoon. And based off of that it's looking like Meek Mills could do some crazy numbers for his first album 'Dreams & Nightmare'.....thanks to Wale's dope album release blueprint.
