I Forgot to Record!

Last Wednesday night, I ended up staying at work late into the night, trying to meet a unexpected deadline. I suppose I don't mind the occasional late night crunching the numbers, but that night was different. I couldn't possibly miss Glee, but I hadn't set my DVR to record it before I left home at morning! Needless to say, I was a bit miffed that my late night at work couldn't have been Tuesday and Thursday.

Fortunately, some DVR subscription services allow customers to set home DVRs via any cell phone or computer. By registering with such services, customers can go online, either via their Internet-enabled computer or cell phone. There, you can search out the shows you can't miss and select to record it(Lookup satellite tv vs cable San Diego to find out if yours has this feature). Easy as pie.

Though such a service isn't automatically enabled with a subscription DVR service, I got around to registering during my late break for supper that evening. I might have had to late work, but I didn't mind anymore; I had Glee waiting for me when I crashed on my couch at midnight.
